Support for the Health Professionals

Covid-19 is taking us into unchartered territory. Not only are our Healthcare Professionals having to work in already stressful surroundings, but they are now having to go further than ever before. Those in ITU are already scared and frightened, but also don’t have the comfort of family and friends visiting. This is a traumatic situation for both care givers and care receivers. Scientific journals are already discussing the likelyhood of both medics and patients suffering from PTSD in years to come because of these unique circumstances.

We want to help provide support to the Doctors, Nurses and other Health Professionals during and after this very stressful time.

Support for Patients

Being in ITU can be an extremely frightening experience, but with Covid-19 patients don’t even get the closeness they would normally experience from family visits. This is also heightened by being surrounded by those in full PPE.

We want to help provide support to patients both during their time in ITU, but also after they leave.

Support for Families

Having a loved-one in hospital at any time can be a deeply worrying and upsetting time. But with Covid-19 families are also prevented from visiting their loved one.

We want to provide support to the families of those in hospital with Covid-19 to help them navigate their way through this traumatic and uncertain time. From providing sources of information, and helping access support, to giving practical advice.
